Word for 2013 - Accomplished

©CindyRippe 2013 - My Word of the Year - Chihuly Glass at Franklin Park Garden and Conservatory
Instead of making a list of New Year's resolutions I started choosing one word to guide me throughout each year.  Last year's word was "choices".  It really helped me to think about what I wanted in life.

This year's word is "ACCOMPLISHED".  It makes me think of who I am and what I want to do.  As it turns out; this word is very powerful!  I started using it a few weeks ago and have already accomplished so much.  Even when I'm feeling ill, or have those days when life is chaotic, I seem to find the time to get something I've been wanting to do either started, worked on, or completed.

This word is so powerful that sometimes I can't sleep thinking about the next thing I want to get done.
Lucky for me that it's not all about work.  I'm taking the time to go to the places I love, spend time with Lee and with friends I haven't seen for a long time.  I'm sure looking forward to the rest of 2013 and the next accomplishment.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.   Philippians 4:13

  3. Thanks Sharon and Deborah. This is more color than I'm used to working with but I made that a part of my new year's challenge. I still can't believe how powerful and personal a chosen word can become.

Sharon, with your experience as an artist restoring treasures you'll do great in mixed media. Just allow yourself to play!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
