Easter and a Cross to Paint on.

My friend, Cindy, has been making these crosses.  They are so perfect for Easter as well as for every day wall decor. We've been collaborating a bit on the project and I've decided that I'd like to paint a white rose on the bowl.Another friend, Mary Jo Leisure, paints beautiful roses on many different surfaces.  I think one of her designs would be lovely.

Flora's Art Adventures - Helping with a Lily Study for Art Play Date

I'm working on my project for Art Play Date and Flora was a big help.  I was able to move the flowers around to study each angle. Her bendable arms really helped!  Most of the time I use a scientific clip to hold the stem of flowers, while sketching, but this was a lot more fun.


To be overcome by the fragrance of flowers is a delectable form of defeat.  Beverly Nichols
