Today at the Design Seminar, Mary Jo talked to us about the importance of "seeing".  We practiced seeing with our mind's eye and with our other senses as we walked around the property at Cheri and Larry Rol's.

It was great to RENEW my creativity by spending time walking through and talking about nature.  The flowers on this crab apple tree reminded me that they will spend the summer and winter storing food and preparing for next year's RENEW'ed floral show.

I was so happy to finish sketching a design collection that's been "in the works" and spent some time writing a list of upcoming projects.  Kelly and I went through 2014 - 2015 Trend reports in order to plan for the rest of the week.
