Floral Arrangement by Cathy S. Brunk AIFD - RJKramer Designs at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show
I enjoyed this exhibit (The Art of Floral at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show) and appreciated the imagination of the floral designers as they created arrangements inspired by great classic artists like Picasso, Dali and Rivera as well as iconic pop culture, including album covers and popular photographs. information source - chicagoflower.com

Designers from the American Institute of Floral Designers presented their interpretations of artwork through floral design.  This design, by Cathy S. Brunk AIFD - RJKramer Designs, captures the movement of the beautiful tu tus with the wreaths and yarn.  The flowers represent the color and texture of the artwork.

Of course I thought of Bella, our little ballerina, and wondered what she would think of this.  She seems to always be in motion and I'm sure she would appreciate the textures and color in both the painting and the floral arrangement.  The photo is a little dark compared to what I usually post but I thought  you might be inspired to see things creatively and maybe just a little different today.

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.  William Faulkner
