I've been patiently waiting for the flower bud on my first amaryllis to start opening.  We keep our house cool and it's not directly in a window so I figured it would take a while.  This morning as I turned it around I got a nice surprise.  The buds had finally started peeking out. Nice ...doin' the happy dance!  I enjoy all the stages of flower growth and the fresh combination of pink, green and white is a nice way to start my day.   Hope you take the time to notice something special and find joy today too.
