Reflecting on Water's Beauty and Strength

We've had so much rain over the last few days.  The plants are loving it but there's just too much in some areas.  Basements flooding, schools and businesses closed, and lots of clean up work ahead!

I enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the water flowing over the rocks of this little man-made waterfall inside the conservatory last weekend.  The collection of 100 varieties of ferns thrive in the humid environment and it was a nice little escape from the rain outside.  It's a reminder of the beauty of gently flowing water as the cleanup work from the strength and force of flooding water begins.
