During the "Great DeClutter Project of 2013", at home and in my studio, my husband and I have been able to give away lots of great items that we no longer have a use for.  Some are brand new, some gently worn but all have been useful.  For years I've had a hard time letting go of things.  Emotional attachments, grand plans to use the items for business projects and the thought that I should earn some money with them were all excuses for not clearing them out. 

The last few years have included several difficult and depressing times for me.  I'm so ready to move forward and simplifying my surroundings is a big part of that.  It wasn't easy to get started, and the process isn't easy,  but it's so worth it!  As we clear the space, my creativity is returning and my mood is lifting. The blessing in all of this is that we've been able to share these things with family, friends, local charities, and even the fire department.  They appreciate our  kindness and the feeling of helping others, even if it's just a little bit, is addicting. The space and freedom we are acquiring is priceless!
