Finally! it feels like Spring!

We decided to take a walk, and enjoy the warm weather, while we could this morning.  There's not much growing yet, most of the daffodils and tulips have leaves sprouting up but the crocuses and miniature irises have finally opened.  They are easy to miss unless you are looking for them.  The irises pictured above are about 4 inches tall but give off a much needed dose of spring color!

I hope that we'll be able to enjoy this weather for a little while before it gets too warm.  Winter has certainly overstayed it's welcome this year and last year it warmed up way too fast.  The Spring flowers didn't last long.
